Tom Pluto,
Tom Pluto has been involved in baseball in one form or another for forty-one years. Beginning in 1967,Tom spent six years as a high school athletic director and varsity baseball coach in Cleveland, Ohio, winning a number “Coach Of The Year “ honors. He moved to Florida in 1973 where he spent 2 years as athletic director and varsity baseball and basketball coach at Bishop Verot High School in Ft. Myers, Florida. He also spent one year as an assistant coach at Eckerd College in St. Pete, Fl.

Tom spent 10 years at The IMG Baseball academy in Bradenton, Fl. While at IMG, he was responsible for a number of programs while also serving as an on the field instructor. Over that period of time, he developed and administered the high and college Spring Team Programs and also the high school and college Summer Wood Bat Programs. His College Red Team won the championship four of the seven years the college wood bat program was in existence. In 1999 he coached the Blue College Team to the American Amateur Baseball Congress World Series Championship in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Within this time frame, there was also an eight year period where he served as a scout for the Cleveland Indians and Oakland Athletics. He also played baseball and Basketball at Ashland University in Ohio where he was an all-conference second baseman in his sophomore year and a small college honorable mention All American his senior year.

Aside from his extensive sports background, Tom also founded several successful business ventures. Pluto Realty Inc. was one of the top volume producing general real estate companies in Sarasota, Fl where Tom was a board of realtor top producer and the 1981 “Exchangor Of the Year”. After selling his real estate business, the formation of CEPCO Ventures followed concentrating on building and development. Tom then took a Water ionization company public that traded on NASDQ (OTC) before taking an early buyout.

2008 has seen the evolution of PRI Enterprises to continue the spring team programs he instituted at IMG.

Mike Verrill
Mike's coaching career began in 1969 as a little league coach for Augusta South Little League, moved on to Apple Valley Babe Ruth as a coach and League President for several years. He served as the District 5 Commissioner for Babe Ruth Baseball for 5 years and the Assistant State Commissioner for 12 years establishing new leagues and generally promoting Babe Ruth Baseball in Maine. Coaching at the High School and College level, Mike took several teams to state level tournament play.

Mike also coached softball at the High School level in Maine, bringing home three KVAC District championships, two Regional Championships and one State Championship. During that time he was awarded Coach of the Year honors and selected as coach of the Maine state Sr. All-Star High School Game in 1999.

Mike was a long time coach and clinician for Frozen Ropes Training Center in Portland and Westbrook, Maine. Frozen ropes is nationally recognized as a leader in the development of baseball and softball players around the country.

Serving the baseball and softball communities has been a priority for Mike. He was involved in forming both the Maine High School Baseball Coaches Association and the Maine High School Softball Coaches Association. Over the years, Mike has served on the National Baseball Coaches Executive Board and also the National Fast pitch Softball Coaches All- American Regional Board. Currently he is involved as a member of the Miracle League Manasota Advisory Board serving young kids with handicaps who want to have the experience of playing baseball.

In addition, Mike has owned several business including Game Day Athletic Co. and Sportslink Marketing Co. both in Maine. Both were very successful as they provided sports related products to schools, colleges, recreation departments and businesses in the state.

Mike also served the Town of Manchester, Maine, as a Member of their Board of Selectman for 6 years running the town's business for its citizens.

Mike currently holds the position of Assistant Athletic Director and Head Baseball Coach at The Out-Of-Door Academy in Sarasota, FL. He also owns Diamond Drills, LLC located in Sarasota, providing clinics, private and group lessons in baseball and softball.
